Map of my doings

I am a visual person, a map person even.

I went ahead and made a Google My Map of what I discovered three weeks ago and I will continually update the map with experiences, spots, and good stuff that I find there. So that you can concern yourself with, oh yeah, that’s where Kris is.

Here you go:

Projects

I wonder exactly what I will be doing in the summer. I am getting quite an idea. In the meantime and as I learn, lots of fire projects fill my days, here are some of them:

* Modeling water mist systems and observing the effects in FDS.

* Learning Fortran to better understand the input > user manal > tech manual > to what equations are explaining the phenomena of fire.

* Reading a book written by one of my professors colleagues in graduate school.

* Creating odd models in FDS_5 and observing the results.
* Reading the FDS_5 manuals over and over to keep that info at my fingertips.

* Spreading the greatness of FDS to classmates and the department at UHD.

* Searching the world of information for material properties.
